  1. Liberty Township, Butler County, Ohio north of Cincinnati. What I posted before might have been premature. After I posted it, I did a little troubleshooting on the Sunbird and found that the clutch pedal switch wire harness connector had one terminal broken loose. After I jumpered it, the car turned over, but didn't start. Pulled the hose between the turbocharger and the air intake and after a squirt of starting fluid, it started!!!! I was flabbegasted! That's been such a great little car.... The sunroof leaked onto the driver's seat and both front mounting feet have turned to rust. But I have the original seat in storage, I'll drill a hole and put that back in.
  2. Nice looking Sunbird. I had a 1976 Sunbird when I was fresh out of college, got me through 3 record breaking winters in a Chicago suburb, In 1984, I bought a new J2000 Sunbird turbo 5-speed hatchback which I still have, but not running. The homeowners association says I must dispose of it. Wish I could find somebody to make it their project car.
