Yay! Just got word that Michigan Widetrackers will present their 25th annual Spring Dustoff, June 8, 2013 at Springfield Oaks County Park, 12451 Andersonville Rd., Davisburg, MI 48350. Pontiac-Oakland-GMC vehicles of all ages. Registration opens at 8 am. Show registration info and updates at: www.widetrackers.com. This is always a terrific, well-attended show with a good swap area and vendor displays.

Just stumbled across this forum. Grew up near PMD headquarters in Pontiac, Mich. in a family that owned and loved Pontiacs as far back as the 1940s. My dad was an early proponent of the "buy local" philosophy, reasoning that a thriving manufacturing base aided the entire community. I've had a 1969 LeMans 2-dr hardtop since it was new and purchased a 1950 8-cyl, 4-door wagon about two years ago. Both are drivable but need restoration. Our "daily drivers" are a 1997 and a 2000 Bonneville which both still perform flawlessly. I look forward to learning alot here and contributing when I can, although my mechanical skills border on the inept. Thanks!
