Bigfoot1965

Hi everyone.  My name is Bob Hoggatt, and I live in Murfreesboro, TN. Born & raised in California, moved here in 2013.  My wife and I retired in December of 2018.

My first car was a nocturne blue, parchment interior 1965 GTO.  Had a lot of fun in that car!  Sold it in 1973 to buy my first new car, a 1974 Chevy Vega.  I know, I know, but that car was fun to drive.

I currently have a 1965 GTO, red/red car that has been a forever project.  Had it off the frame a couple of times.  Frame has been powder coated, all new suspension components.  Had a 12 bolt posi built for it, but when I tried to do a disc brake conversion on it, one of the axle tubes was 1/4" shorter than the other, but the axles were the same length so the caliper mounting brackets and rotors wouldn't line up.  Gave up on it and ordered a 9 inch from Currie with the disc brakes already on it.  The engine is a 1972 455 HO from a '72 Trans Am.  Custom built with JE pistons, solid roller cam, roller rockers and some massaging done on the 7F6 heads.  Added an Edelbrock dual quad manifold and a couple of Edlebrock carbs.

I also have a 1962 Grand Prix.  Black with a red interior, power steering, automatic transmission, power brakes, air conditioning, power windows, 8 lug wheels, and a 1963 tri-power setup. It has long branch exhaust manifolds, and a super duty rear end with 3:55 gears.
