Vehicle Description / Story
My 1977 Pontiac Can Am is completely original and was stored for over 33 years.I purchased it last summer on Ebay. It is one of 42 made with the 403 engine. I am the third owner of the car. The car was purchased in California in 1977 by a Pontiac dealer and every piece of documentation including the factory build sheet is in tact.
In 1977 I saw the Can Am's on a local Pontiac lot and knew I had to have one. I was 17 at the time and before you knew it they stopped making them. There are very few left out of the 1377 made with low miles and in original non restored condition. I don't regret buying it because I know that the value will only increase. These were made to be collector cars coming off the line and are just odd enough with a Grand Prix interior and shaker hood on a mid sized body to be just plain cool.
