Vehicle Description / Story
Daily driven (spring-fall) & track day at the local road course or autocross event ready. Bought the car in late August of 2020 from the second owners in Wisconsin. It was originally a Florida car & was then moved to Arizona where it lived most of its life before being sold to the previous owners where it sat in a garage for a little over a year with 92,000 miles on it before I bought it. 98% rust free besides a bit of surface rust on the subframe near the left rearward mount. It was torn apart down to the unibody & put back together over two weeks as soon as I got it home & everything under the built for spirited driving such as BC coilovers, BMR lateral links and trailing arms, new OEM control arms with polly bushings (since ZZPerformance was out of stock for their chromoly tubular lcas) front and rear strut tower braces, zzp front & rear sway bars with all poly bushings & endlinks, solid poly engine & trans mounts. Brakes were upgraded to 13.6 4 piston brembos from a CTS-V up front & 06 GP GXP rears all with Hawk brake pads & stainless braided brake lines. & Wheels are 18x8.5 +20 TSW Clypse with 245 40r19 Contonintal Extreme contact DWS 06 tires. All engine upgrades are from (ZZPerformance unless stated otherwise) "Rebuilt" l67 motor Stock block, stock heads, and stock cam Gen 3 Eaton m90 sc with 3.2 pulley Cold air intake Stage 2.5 full stack intercooler Billit fuel rails with braided lines Lucas #42.5 injectors OEM replacement fuel pump with Casper's hot wire kit Stainless Plog style "headers" 3inch stainless downpipe with 400cell cat 2.5inch stainless catback exhaust Full 1.5 Aluminum radiator Aluminum valve covers Shortened billit dogbone mounts with poly bushings Tuned by ZZPerformance I'm missing alot, but I guess that's all the main things I guess. On October 28th in 2020 a semi rolled over after going thru a red light & landed right ontop of the hood & totalled the car. I couldn't let that be the end & ended up buying the car back from insurance and having the body realigned and Rebuilt over the winter. I had enough money left over to also pick up a carbon fiber SD hood and SD lip for it among a few other things. Now it's at 97,000 miles after owning it for nearly a year & a half, and I have no intention of getting rid of it either. Maybe one day, many years from now I'll consider selling, but for right now, I'm committed to keeping it regardless!
