Car and Driver: F-Yeah! Jaguar Preparing 200-mph F-Type SVR

-The Jaguar F-type R isn’t the kind of car that leaves you wanting for much. With a 550-hp supercharged V-8 and all-wheel drive, it’s already beastly. But that’s not enough for Jaguar, apparently. The British automaker has turned its in-house hot-rodders at SVR loose on the thing.
-That’s the rumor as reported by Dutch automotive news site Autovisie. The site’s report says that, starting with the regular, 550-horse F-type R (both coupe and convertible), SVR’s package adds another 25 horsepower, carbon-ceramic brakes, suspension tweaks, a rather brash aero package with a big decklid spoiler, and an even louder titanium exhaust. All this adds up to a claimed 200-mph top speed.

We suspect we’ll see the real-deal SVR at the Geneva auto show in March.
