whats a good set to get? as well as the pattern. would a longer closed lug nut be better than the short open end?

I have used McGuard for decades. Had a chrome set to match the lug nuts on my old Cragars back in the late 70s. I had a set on my S15 Jimmy/S10 Blazer and another set for the external spare tire for the S15/S10.
