Formally known as Subaru of Indiana Automotive, SIA opened its doors in 1989 and currently produces the Outback, <a /subaru/'>href="http://www.autoblog.com/subaru/forester/">Forester</a> and <a /subaru/'>href="http://www.autoblog.com/subaru/tribeca/">Tribeca</a> for Subaru, in addition to the <a /toyota/camry/'>href="http://www.autoblog.com/toyota/camry/">Toyota Camry</a>.<br /><br />The plant, which was originally a joint venture between Subaru and <a /tag/isuzu/'>href="http://www.autoblog.com/tag/isuzu/">Isuzu</a>, has produced nine different models for four different manufacturers over the years, and is getting ready to add a tenth as <a /subaru/'>href="http://www.autoblog.com/subaru/impreza/">Impreza</a> production will be coming to SIA. Subaru announced plans to move Impreza production to Indiana when <a /2013/05/09/subaru-investing-400-million-for-impreza-production-in-indiana/'>href="http://www.autoblog.com/2013/05/09/subaru-investing-400-million-for-impreza-production-in-indiana/">it made a $400-million investment in the facility</a> earlier this year.
