Police say the 12-year-old girl fought with her father earlier in the evening and slipped from their South Carolina home after he fell asleep. From there, the pre-teen stole a pickup truck from the local VFW parking lot with the intent of driving to a relative's house in Fort Mill. Officers originally spotted the girl thinking she was a drunk driver and a chase ensued. The girl reached speeds of up to 70 mph and roamed Interstate 85 and 77 until police finally boxed her in and brought the scene to a stop.

No charges have been filed as of yet, though some reports indicate the girl was taken to a local hospital with a broken finger. It's unclear where that injury originates from. You can watch a local news report on the incident below for more information.
