So... i have had the Cquence Ultimate Cross Drilled and Slotted rotors for about 2 years and it is time to replace them. I would try and have them turned but i dont think i can. Well i am going to stay with Cquence because i love them. they have been great.

My question is should i get the Cross Drilled and Slotted again? Should i go with Drilled Only or Slotted Only? go to www.cquence.net select a 2007 G6 3.5 and see the different styles.

I cant make up my mind. I WILL NOT GET DIMPLED...

In my experience when drilled rotors are in winter they tend to crack and rust out. I am not a big fan of them for the daily driver. I have Power Slot rotors and I like them. They are just slotted and I have had no problems with them. I just ordered a set for the truck and we will see how they work on older vehicles.

My drilled and slotted ones have been greaT. Never a problem, its just time to replace them. Ithink i am going to get the slotted ones

You can't resurface them, and don't use ceramics on them, they chew up the surface badly.

  • 2 weeks later...

Well like i said i purchased the slotted, black zinc coated rotors (front and rears) with Hawk ceramic pads again. They lasted 2.5 Years and about 31K miles so i cant bitch.

What i can bitch about is the effing time it has taken Cquence to ship these biznaches. I ordered them on the 24th and i kept checking the order status but there was no status. So i called and they said they will ship Monday. That means this next weekend i get to get my hands dirty.... It has been a long time, but crimson told me it is like masturbating. You never forget how to do it right....
