Thinking about having my four speed Muncie/Hurst M21 swapped out for a Tremec TKX five speed in my 1965 2+2. I've searched and all I can find on here are GTO conversions. Just wondering if anyone has done the swap in a mid-sixties Catalina and how is it working out?

Has anyone put a TKX 5-speed in a 1965 Catalina? I got a supposedly bolt-in TKX kit, but the trans crossmember doesn't fit, nor does the replacement that was sent. The company recommended fabricating new frame brackets. My project is presently at a standstill. There must be someone besides me who has attempted this.
