Massive coolant leak

Featured Replies

Had a local buddy look at this and he thinks the radiator is cracked or punctured. It will leak like a crazy person while running and just after running but after its sat for awhile it stops. Checked the oil - no milkshake, the UIM is seeping but no way its the culprit - need some opinions before i gank the radiator from my 99 3.1 GP and make it inoperable. So, i am posting a short video of the leak.... hope it helps - any input about this by someone more mechanically inclined than i will help.

CHAOS! come on out.

Gaskets and/or water pump. My GTO did that and I replaced the gaskets first and it did a little but I ended up replacing the whole water pump because it wouldn't stop leaking.

Easy check would be all the hoses and making sure all the clamps are on and tight.

i can replace everything from the Upper Intake Mani and gaskets all the way to the radiator..... water pump...lim gasket etc... for 253 shipped from rockauto. My dad is gonna loan me the cash for the parts cause my GI bill check got ganked because i apparently was getting "to much". Local friend of mine will do the work so, to hell with figuring it out just gonna fix it all.

heck yeah! Rockauto ftw! I think my Ranger is a rolling advertisement for them.
