another driveshaft question

just checked the driveshaft and the front u-joint need stop be replaced and its the one with no c-clips holding it in, its the one that had the nylon injected in it to hold the caps in place. when I change it what do I do to hold it together who has changed it what did you do?

bob, dont muck with it, justA take it to a drive shaft specilist shop and let them press out the old universal and install a new one, and have the shaft balanced while its out cheers

Bob, understand buddy Kiwi is correct, taking it in would be best. With that said If it's the style u joint I'm thinking, I have heated those up with a map gas torch and removed them that way. It's a pain but it is more than possible. Good luck bro, let us know what happens.
