automatic shifting point

Featured Replies

1970 lemans stock I was out driving and stopped at red light when it changed I put it to the floor and although I wasn't looking at tach it shifted before 3k never really got to rev up, is there a way to adjust it so when I step on it it gets up? if I was trying to pass a car it would have been embarrassing, shouldn't have to shift it myself.

Presumably, this is a new behavior. I would suggest that your vacuum modulator either has a leaky line to it or you might need a new modulator. I'm guessing that its a TH350 transmission. Have you checked trans fluid levels?
