Camaro with a Freight Train Blower

Featured Replies

Okay, I ran across this picture and article while I was on Hot Rod Power Tour. No - this car was not on the tour, but I had people near me talking about it while we were enjoying the car show in our hotel parking lot in Indy.

This thing is so massive it almost looks like some sort of sick, malignant growth or mutation. The story says this came from a locomotive engine. The discussion on PT that the first time this engine was fired up, it generated so much boost that it literally blew ever gasket in the engine out! Now I consider that urban legend, but based on the photos alone, you can imagine that could have been the case.

This is definitely a WTF moment.

This is an OLD pic of exotic blowers/systems on the old Coolrides.  There was another member with a stack of blowers and was the talk of the town.  Prob was it didn't run real well.  But blowzilla here is still pretty funny.  Check these out.
