Rear quarter interior question

Featured Replies

Finally putting the interior in my 65 Le Mans ragtop and noticed that when you put the rear armrest assemblies in (there were none when I bought it) there is a thin vertical area between the front edge of the the armrest and the vertical pinchweld were the windlace goes that is showing. Please see photo attached. The windlace will cover about 3/8 of an inch of it but the rest shows the body, which is just primer w/ overspray. This can’t be right, right? Can anyone send me a photo of what this area should look like finished? Many thanks.65C8CCE9-E869-4C2F-BF8E-4AE7C678107D.thumb.jpeg.c7aece51453fd965b1f042217e437d56.jpeg

I would call either OPGI or Ames. I think there was a specific wind lace trim that was the filler between the armrest and door frame. I'd be surprised if that was not reproduced.
