Hey everyone…..spring is almost here in Manitoba.  FINALLY!!  Please don’t send us any more Colorado lows!  We’ve had enough!!

Looking for the driver side front seat molding/trim for our’57 Star Chief 2 door.  Anyone know where we might find one?

Thanks again.

Kiwi is right, you may have to call around to classic salvage yards for what you need since virtually no one is re-popping this stuff. Otherwise you may have to go to a custom upholstery shop and we all know that is not cheap.

I have a list of other classic car salvage yards here in the US if you want it I don't have anything for Canada though.

After thinking about this a minute, when we re-did the piping on Lucy, to color match the seat piping with the car's exterior color, we ended up using a piping used in the marine/boating industry. So for coloring piping, you might want to look beyond automotive materials.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts.  Not sure what we will do.  Keep on the look out for the piece.  Price of loving these old girls.
