Front bearing seal for Synchro Mesh Tranny- 860 series Catalina Chieftain.

Hello All: New to this forum.

Having difficulty finding the front bearing/ shaft seal for a 1956 Synchro mesh Transmission in my Granny’s Chieftain.Plenty for the Hydro-Matic around. Any help in trying to locate one would be appreciated . Mechanic needs one to complete the re-build of the Tranny. Thanks for any help. Mike S Ardmore,PA

Thank you.Until I find this front  bearing seal for the transmission. It’s out of commission.  Still hunting, but striking out. Thanks for the support.

if you are lucky  to be able to read the product code on your old front seal they will have a replacement ....OR

 

Plan B ... frosty ! can you reach out to your web of super cool pontiac mates ? maybe Chuck Scott in Minnesota ???he was sooo helpfull with my 57 ...he may know some one ???
