34 Engine paint, Color

Featured Replies

I am buying a 1934 Pontic, 4 dr., with just 9000 original miles .

I have seen pictures on You tube, of the engine color .  It is a lttle lighter than my 1939 Olds, flat 6 color .

Duplicolor DE1618, is called Detroit Diessel or Alpine Grenn; I have also , had it called Aqua Green .

I would prefer to brush the paint on, as I will not be removing the engine .

Does anybody, know the correct color, for a 34 Pontiac engine ?

Had a friend use the Aqua Green on his 32, he was shooting for all original.  Wish I had more to run with.

Thats an awesome chart Frosty

Thanks Wrongway. It's the closest thing I know of to anything "official".

Well it's the first time I've seen a chart like that and saved it justa in case I decide to change the color of mine while its out. So thanks again.
