1981 Pontiac Phoenix LJ V6

Recommended Posts

Hi,

My father had a 1981 Pontiac Phoenix LJ V6 and now, for personal reasons, I'm the owner of the car. I already found the VIN number of the chasis, but I'm having some issues to find the engine number in the engine block.

Could someone tell me where can I find the engine number, if someone have some picture of the number location it will be better.

Thanks for the help!

Hi PontiacMurias

The attached link from the GM Heritage Center regarding the Chevy Citation (sister to the Phoenix) refers to the engine information for the L4 and V6 engines - look to page 3.
