When my 57 was restored they filled in the hole for the antenna.  I want to put one on, but not sure where it goes; fender or cowl in front of windshield?  If someone has an original one, would appreciate a pic of the location.  I don't want a rear one.  Thanks!

    Passenger side front cowl from these photos - convertibles definitely had them on the rear fender.

    Jerry, mine was on the cowl the same as the pics above, but it leaked when I got it despite sealing it up. When I had the car painted I also had the hole filled, and fitted a marine under dash hidden antenna. Not as good as having an outside one, but in my opinion gives the car a much cleaner look.

    Russell, do you still have the original AM radio?  Does that antenna bring in the AM stations?  If so, could you send me info on it?  Thanks

    Hi Jerry, unfortunately my Wonderbar radio was kaput when I got it, so it is only for display, and I have a stereo in the glovebox. The hidden antenna brings in both AM and FM on the stereo unit. This is what I purchased:=
