Yeah, i really want a lidded hood, but theyre really hard to come by. The only company i know that makes them charges like 400 for a lidded vader hood, thats actually heavier than the stock one. And i dont have the skills to make one myself.

Why not find a local company to just fab something up with the hood you have? With that, you can leave the eyelids on, that way when you have the hood up, they still have the eyelid look, but with the hood down, you have the whole hood look :) And it shouldn't cost much to have something made up locally, plus just paint that small portion B)
