I guess this is the fed's price for success.

Still, if you think about it, GM has been selling the Volt through 2 generations of the vehicle, and now the Bolt, for nearly 10 years. They have only now reached and surpassed the 200,000 sales mark for electric vehicles. Tesla has reach their 200k mark, everyone else is still under it.

What does that say about the public's demand, nay thirst, for green, electric vehicles?

They are green alright, they also consumer a lot of green - up front!
