I find it amazing how everyone else in the world can build better cars (or virtually anything else) than Americans, according to Consumer Reports.

I am not so jaded to say that certain Asian manufacturers don't deserve to be number one or even in the top 10. I just find it hard to believe that every American manufacturer is virtually last - save for Volvo - and rated consistently so by Consumer Reports for decades.
