Okay I will admit that I've become a closet Mopar fan with the demise of Pontiac. The Camaro isn't getting it for me and the Corvette is still the most inexpensive supercar on the market but it is still out my price range. I've  never been a Mustang fan. Mopar continously comes out with fresh ideas on the ol' Challenger platform and they seem to know their customers and price points very well. Chevy is constantly behind or not at the party at all.

That said. the latest Challenger, the 2019 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack 1320 is interesting. Basically it is a supercharger-less Hellcat. So only 485 HP and lower in the price stratosphere for us mortals.

One subtle thing I like most is the change to the traditional Rumble Bee logo. I love the newer helmet design. It clearly outlines what this car is all about - going fast in a straight line - 1/4 mile at a time!
