There is more to this story than meets the eye. Not sure what. "Pursuing other interests" is GM speak for an executive they've decided to terminate immediately (for whatever reason). Something has definitely gone off the rails. 

He's been at Cadillac for 4 years. They got him from Infiniti. In that time he moved Cadillac's HQ from Warren/Detroit MI to New York.
