Mary Barra Shapes a New GM: Faster, focused, and decisive

Featured Replies

A well written piece from the Detroit Free Press. While some of the article focuses on Mary Barra and her tenure at GM. The real meat is giving us a more defined sense of direction that GM is going on the next several years. I find the Growth Potential Quadrant graph from Dan Ammann to be most interesting, as it clearly shows GM's strengths and weakness. They have clearly looked at that chart, down their home work and they have started to exit many of the non-profitable markets.
