Overview: While the Golf hatchback may be more important to Volkswagen’s global fortunes, America’s love for sedans means that the Jetta is the best-selling VW in the U.S. Previous Jettas were essentially Golfs with trunks, but the current Jetta introduced in 2011 was engineered specifically for America, meaning it doesn’t share its platform with the current Golf.
