Thank you both for your help. I did remove both by pinching the end clips together and simply sliding them out. Steve, do you happen to know the Anco part number you’ve bought? Mine are 18” and I was looking at Anco W-18. I’m hoping to buy the correct ones so I don’t end up shipping anything back. Thanks again. Joel

Hi. I am hoping someone can direct me to where I might purchase original style replacement wiper blades for my 66 Catalina. I’m unsure if the entire piece, including the metal, or just the rubber part is what constitutes a replacement blade. I’m big on originality so am shying away from the big, black replacements out there. The car won’t be driven in the rain except on rare, unexpected occasions. Also, I cannot find any instructions on how to replace them. Thanks in advance for your help. Joel

1966 Pontiac Catalina. During COVID, I taught myself about engines, brake systems, fuel systems, and the whole electrical system. Whew. Sitting 30 years in a barn had taken a toll. Got her running! Then had her in the shop for a transmission service, new exhaust system, and other assorted repairs. I love her! Her back story... Margaret Barbour bought the car new in January of 66 here in Connecticut. She didn't drive and the car was used summers only (no winter salt) and she had a local guy drive her up to her home in Vermont every summer until 1990. Then the car sat for 30 years in a dry barn. When I got her, Peggy had these rather ugly seat covers, stained and dirty from years of sitting idle. It was used as acorn storage for squirrels. So I took the seats out last week, hoping to scrub them and also get the carpet out. Not a good smell at all. Well, I then realized the seats were actually covered with tailored aftermarket covers. I thought, man the material underneath must be a mess. Wrong. I took them off to find pristine vinyl and cloth seats! I was shocked, realizing she must have had the covers put on when the car was new, maybe by the dealership. Sometimes you get lucky! Thanks, Margaret Peggy" Barbour."

Hi all. I have a 66 Catalina sedan. Platinum with two tone blue interior. 389, PS, PB, AC and radio delete. Rescued her from a barn where she'd sat for 30 years. Little old lady car with 80 k miles. I loved the overall design of the car, not to mention the dash. I'm hooked on restoring her even though she's a pillared sedan and has a few bumps and bruises. She runs great, drives like a cargo ship.
