  1. Thanks Frosty for you input. Since I Posted this and after your response I had ordered one of the 1.52 rockers to see if this would work. As you know, retailers do not have information on length / height/etc on a rocker arm.  It turns out this rocker is to long and goes beyond the valve stem.  I Did finally find the correct rocker at Kanter.com.  Exact rocker/ rocker ball and 5/16" nut.  #RA44044K.  Thanks again for you input.

  2. Hello forum gents.   New to this forum stuff but looks like a good thing to do.  I have a 55 Chieftain that I have been working on for 6 years.  This is a true old/way hot rod built buy the owner.

No fancy expensive hot rod shops ( couldn't afford them anyway) The interior was done by a upholstery shop and the paint, well that's another story.  Installed a 347 cu. in. 60 over engine with mild cam.

3x2's original carbs.  Tranny  cam out of a 68 corvette anniversary TH350. (don't think its any different than other th350's. Had to build engine to tranny mount.  Installed Power Steering 605 gear box. Built Bracket assembly for early model P.S. Pump.

Look forward to sharing and hopefully learning more about these great Pontiac Cars.
