Pictures of your under carriage might help, if you get the chance. Does the noise sound like it's coming from the front of the car or the transmission or rear end?

I will assume it is from the front for now.  It is a metal on metal grinding? Are you running over size wheels and tires? Has the power steering pump or steering box ever been replaced or serviced? Is it possible the wheels or tires a rubbing or coming in contact with the inner fender or perhaps the tie rod ends when the wheels are turned at a severe enough an angle?

Those my initials thoughts without knowing more information.

it definitely sounds like it's coming from the front, i dont know if the steering assembly has ever been serviced. it does sound like grinding though. it only does it at this one angle in reverse, if it's turned more or less than this one angle it doesn't grind at all. if i can ill try to get some pictures up.

  2. My Lemans has had this problem for some time now and i can't seem to figure out where it comes from. Anytime i go in reverse and turn the wheel counter clock wise to a certain degree i'll hear a grinding noise. The wheels don't seem to be rubbing and i'll take any advice i can get because i'm ready to try anything to get rid of this incessant noise. Thanks in advance!
