  1. Thanks. The wheels make the top ten list for me for future endevours. Buddies of mine are working with the LT1 and are looking for solutions for the opti spark and that may fit the bill.

I've had both unvented and vented, when I did Heads & Cam I converted to the 95 Vented Opti. Never had issues with it. I used new GM parts. I killed one unvented when the water pump dumped coolant all over it, that was my fault though. Other wise it was reliable in that regard.

  2. Thanks, the wheels are Fikse Mags 17x9 in the front 17x11 in the rear. The car runs off an efi connection 24x set up, so it has a 24 count reluctor wheel on the crank and the opti was replaced by a ls1 cam position sensor in a custom housing from efi connection. That allows me to run ls2 coil packs and a ls1 based PCM.

  3. From Houston, TX. I have a 93 T/A, have had the car since '00 got it 41K miles, has a little over 75K on it now. The original owner bought it new in Hawaii and brought it to Texas in '98. It was traded in on a Mini Van at a local Honda dealer here in Houston and I got it for my 16th Birthday. Next things for the car will be a 398 short block, still LT1 based and have the car along with the engine bay repainted back to the original shade of red.

Originally a tan interior auto car but did a six speed swap along with a full ebony interior conversion. I never liked the tan interior it had from the factory. The auto was fun when it had a big converter but I wanted to try a six speed in it when it decided it didn't enjoy being behind a heads and cam set up.

The ebony interior conversion was a giant pain, it took two ebony dash swap attempts to get it right. The first ebony dash broke trying to get it in, the second time I had help and managed not to break the dash shell. If you ever decide you want to swap interior colors, I suggest you don't. But while the dash was out I got to replace all the a/c stuff and remove a junky old alarm. So it wasn't all for not I guess.
