My Camaro hasn't had AC since I bought it. Found out it had a bad leak at the compressor. The cheapest compressor I can find is close to $200.
Now, since I haven't had the luxury of experiencing AC in this car, I am thinking I probably wont use it often if I fix it. So with that said, should I get an AC bypass bracket and simply remove the AC system, or should I suck it up and fork out the money to replace the compressor?

Wow, Chris. You seem to be quite the head honcho here.

Anyone know who makes it?

Definitely my wheels...
Second choice, probably my SLP CAI.

Maybe if they were made of metal I could see them worth the cost, but made of plastic for nearly $100?!?!

With my old job at Autozone, I delt with it constantly. I have no sympathy for that. The main language in our country is English. Always has been. Back in the early '10's and '20's, when we got the mass influx of immigrants from all over Europe and everywhere else, they would learn basic English before becoming a citizen, along with numerous other things. Now? Pfft, our own government won't do anything with the spanish folks. Why? Cheap labor. And everybody knows it. I see it like this, you want to live in our wonderful country? Make an effort to become a citizen like the rest of us. Acquire a SS number, and pay taxes like the rest of us. But no, they won't learn the lanuage, won't assimilate into the norm, and they'll take offense when they walk into a store and nobody speaks spanish. I'm sorry, but that's just plain ignorance.
Damn, end rant.
Even worse, they are now bending to their will. Practically everything is now bi-lingual. Packaging, signs, you name it. It pisses me off.
If I went to live in another country I would make it a priority to learn the language, at least enough to get by. Not expect them to make adjustments for my native language...
K, now back on topic...

They had 17/18 staggered available in this design, but for $300 more I didn't think it was worth it.

I would think Orlando would be an expensive place to live...

I really gotta see this in person. You going to the 631 meet on Friday?
I just noticed the tire size too, 275's fill out the wheelwell great.
Yeah, I'll be there Friday. I just wish I could lower it to kill the fender gap, but it already bottoms out as it is...
Looks great! Maybe its just the reflection but they're silver right? not bronze-ish? lol
They are powdercoated black with a machined aluminum face.

Oh, you'll like Florida, no front license plates, no emissions checks, no snow, and as long as you stay away from the coasts, no salt! Don't forget to bring your swim trunks and sunglasses.
And make sure your ac works well

I will drag your ass back here if you move to FL for good!

I use R1 concepts drilled and slotted rotors on my Camaro. They have been pretty good to me, work well and look good.

How about getting a polyurethane bushing kit to improve your handling? Probably have money left over too.

Hmmm, I see a trend here.

Sounds like a bot that joins various forums to spam members through PM's. It happens a lot if the forums registration doesn't have strong enough bot protection.

Eventually, but I want to get the Duke running right first.

Your Fiero is amazing!!! What happened to the side panel on the door?
Camaro is awesome as well!! I still want one of those or a Trans Am, leaning more towards a Trans Am!
Unfortunately, Fiero came that way. Been working on getting it reliable for this car show season. Never seen a single Fiero at any of the local shows.

Hey everyone. Just signed up here, my friend Chaosweaver told me about this place. I own an 86 Fiero as well as a 97 Camaro RS, but thats not pontiac, so I'll refrain from posting about that one.
Anyway, I'd love to see more Fiero owners on here.
