- Description Canadian 57 Pontiac Pathfinder Deluxe sedan. Purchased in May 1996 in Omeme, Ontario, Canada. Car was built by GM Canada in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada in July, 1957. The car was sold by a Pontiac/Buick dealer by the name of Amos in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. The 57 came back to Ontario from Alberta in the late 1970's. The 57 was very solid body and frame wise because it came from Alberta where cars seem to last longer. I restored the 57 original, changed the color from two tone green to silver and white like my dad's 57 was. I added many original 57 accessories and rebuilt everything possible. I drive the 57 about 4,000 miles a year going to car events. The 57 has the original 261 in line six cylinder engine and three speed standard on the column. I show my 57 in memory of my dad, who had one from 1959 to 1970. I have had this 57 longer than any classic I have ever owned now. She is a real joy to drive and show. Cheers.
