Pontiac of the Month

Pedja's 1968 Firebird

2019 March
of the Month

  • Welcome to Forever Pontiac

We are a community of Pontiac enthusiasts. The purpose of our community is to keep alive the Pontiac spirit by sharing (or showing off) our cars, discussing Pontiac, helping each other work on our cars and find information, plus attend various meets/shows/etc... To aid discussion, sharing, event planning and selling of parts/cars/anything, we have various parts of the website to aid this from Forums to an online Garage to Classifieds to even a Document Download Repository. You can find links to these in our navigation above based on what each section helps with (discussion, local events, learning, etc...).

We invite you to contribute, find help or just view some of our member's amazing cars! Don't forget, we also have great contests from time to time (like our Pontiac of the Month and yearly calendar contest) and our Pontiac This OR That, a fun game where you choose the best of two randomly selected Pontiacs from our online garage.

We look forward to seeing you around!

Car and Driver: Hail to “The Beast”: Hillary or Donald’s New Presidential Limo Caught Testing!

Like the current presidential limo, the new one is being supplied by General Motors and rides on a heavy-duty truck platform—not too surprising, given that it’s bulletproof, bombproof, and possessing other security features the Secret Service doesn’t want to talk about. Today’s limo, nicknamed The Beast, attempts to disguise its truck underpinnings with a design that borrows from the now discontinued Cadillac DTS sedan, but the Beast 2.0 ups the style quotient with a front-end treatment taken from the latest Escalade, even if it still shows a vestigial trunk.

The current presidential limo was new for 2009, and it carried President Obama to his first inauguration. It’s not known whether the new version will arrive in time for the swearing in of POTUS 45, or whether the newly elected leader of the free world will have to suffer the indignity of a hand-me-down company car while he or she awaits delivery of the brand-new Beast.
