Hey everyone, I'm new here and thought I'd check out this site, I bought my 74 Ventura about 6 months ago for 500 dollars, it was in about that many pieces when I brought it home, I'm in the process of turning it into a mild bracket/ street car. I will try to get some pictures up soon, but so far I have got a small block Chevy 4 bolt main 350, 12.5 to 1 dome pistons, Scat 4340 I beam rods with ARP bolts, Comp 294s cam, and a set of camel hump heads with 2.02 int and 1.60 ex, that have been ported, screw in studs, guide plates, and 1.6 roller rockers, I'm still trying to get ahold of a decent intake still.

I think this will be a fun ride, but again, just wanted to say hey to everyone

Brandon

thank you everyone, right now I am waiting for my new pistons to come in, have the rods ready to go, as soon as the motor goes together, I will be starting the body work, I also have to fab the roll cage, but that won't be too terrible. I'll post more pictures as i get more things done.

Nice looking Ventura. For intakes I have used the Edelbrock 2101 intake with good luck. You may like their air gap intakes a little more. Although with that setup you may want to consider a single plain intake.

I'm trying to find a super victor, gasket match it and the heads. Clean runners up and have some fun with it

I did not even think of the Super Vic but that would be a good match for it. Tons of them at the last swap meet I went to. What are you running for a carb?

for the carb, I'm thinking of a Barry Grand 850 demon, I have one of those up in the garage, also I have a 750 carb, I'm not sure of the make,
