and im sure there was the usual Darth Vader/evil empire music too last night as well as other things for NY.

We in NE take our sports teams very seriously and have the rep as the greatest hard core sports fans and greates all around sports city.

oh yea, my parents are from Mass so I'm respectably a huge Red Sox fan. I go every year at least once during spring training down here and when they play the (Devil) Rays in Tampa. Being a Red Sox fan seems a way of life than just a sports team :( Been to Fenway a lot and the year I lived there was probably the best year ever!

Yea where pretty hard core about sports in MA but when it comes to Sox fans its a whole nother thing.

If you have never been to a sox yankees game in Fenway you will never have a clue what Im talking about.

I know for a fact people in traffic get trash talked to or get the finger if they have a NY bumper sticker or plate on there car here. NO JOKE!

B) Yea I'd never been to a Sox-Yankee game yet especially in Fenway, wish I could get there. I'm actually trying to get up there for my birthday and on my birthday they are playing the Yankees :( lol but unless something happens I probably won't have the money for it seeing as plane + tickets + hotel = way too much :lol2: I'll see what work does for me and how a summer job does as well.

haha I have a theory going that Yankee fans are the worst drivers by far so they get the finger from me a lot then when they're also a Florida Gator fan, oh geez I get the hell away from them :lol2: I also have been known to date girls who are Red Sox fans and if it becomes a problem break up with them if they're a Yankee fan

That's one game.

The Sox are like the seasons,

Spring foreward, Fall back.

Wait, wat?

This is a fight nobodies gonna win :(

Did you hear about when Alex Rodriguez got caught cheating on his wife????

Some of the Boston radio station, liquor stores, bars and local news papers gave away masks of the other woman for people to wear to the game. there were way way way more than hundreds of people at the game with them on. People where shouting stuff at him and all kinds of stuff.

I've been to Fenway, and the new and old Yankee Stadium.

But I'll be nice. If my pops was on the forums...oh man.

You'd get it.

My main problem with Yankee fans are they never lived in NY, their parents never lived in NY, hell nobody ever in their gene pool lived in NY yet they're Yankee fans because its "cool" and they don't know anything about baseball just that its cool to have the NY symbol on your hat and turn it to the side.

I've actually been called out by some dbag that had a Yankee hat on and I had my Red Sox World Series sweatshirt on and he had the assiduity to ask me "If I was from Mass" or had any relation and I'm like hell yea I do!! My family still has major roots there! Then he said "Good cause I hate those Red Sox fans that don't have any relation to them." Then I ask him about NY and he tells me nobody from his family is from there  Hypocritical much!

But I actually have respect that you're a true fan Chris, at least your not a poser.
