Power Brake conversion for 1948 Silver Streak

Recommended Posts

I would like to covert my 1948 Pontiac to power brakes.  It has the frame mounted system and I don't want to get into changing the steering column or anything like that.  It is a pain in the backside to check the fluids so a remote reservoir  would be great.  Has anyone done this and have some advise?

Have you found a kit or are you looking for one? Also, are you willing to drill holes in the firewall to mount a more modern brake boaster / master cylinder?
