-Infiniti is on pace for its best U.S. sales in a decade, back when we envied college bros rocking G35s. That previous G35 and G37 sedans were packing, with their punchy, big-displacement V-6s; snarling exhaust notes; sharp handling; and taut styling. The third-generation of that model line, now named Q50 and totally redesigned for the 2014 model year, added loads of electronics while taming the G’s party-hearty good times—and we’ve been bitter about it.
