Cozmik's '03 Montana

As a few of you requested, here are some pics of the new Montana. As of now its stock, except for the shorty antenna. There will be some work done with lighting and audio to start, as well as front tints. After that we'll see what happens.

I'd like to get some nice 17's for it as well and use the factory 15's for snow tires.

All in all, its in really good shape for being 7 years old. It was really well maintained. No rust, dents, scratches. Interior is really clean with no rips or stains. Very happy with this van. Just need to make it not so 'stock' now...

Looks nice! Yea these Vans can take a beating my mom has the sister van, Chevy Venture. Pretty sure its a 2000 and we've taken that thing to and back from Massachusetts from Florida here and it has close to 200,000 miles and its still running like new! No major repairs either, just the usual stuff. I've been really surprised with this thing!

Yeah, this is our second Montana. My wife had a blue 2001 or 2002 (can't remember exactly). It was a nice van, but totally base model. She wasn't so happy with it after awhile so it got sold off. I think if it would have had more bells and whistles she may have kept it. She really likes this new one (but that could be because she doesn't have to drive it!!) And my daughter really like the power sliding door. I have to admit that as a courier, that is one sweet feature!!

As far as having to have a minivan, the Montana was the nicest one as far as I was concerned. It at least looks sort of sporty. And it is really comfortable. Important when you're in it 8 or so hours a day.

I would like to get my hands on an 06 or 07 G6 GTP for a toy. That could be fun. But thats not going to happen anytime soon, the Montana it is for the time being.

Take it from my experience, save money and go with a GTO. G6's are awesome!!!! but for a toy your gonna want a little more power! Coming from a van I'm sure your used to this but we have a very very limited aftermarket for the 6 but the most of us make it work!

The G6 is an awesome DD, gets me in style and very fast to wherever, but even I can't wait to buy a GTO or TA.

Although if your looking for something just to do a little sunday driving in and not worried about aftermarket or that much "power" then the 6 is PERFECT! Very comfortable and roomy cabin, nice stock radio (go with monsoon speakers stock, their AWESOME) and just over a perfect amount of HP vs. MPG, IMO. AS well as a good size engine whether your getting the 3.9L (2006) or 3.6L (2007).

Clean Montana. A nice set of six or seven spoke wheels in silver or gunmetal would look tight. They make black housing clear corner headlights for the minivans, similar to the headlights on my GA.

Great ideas guys....but this is a courier van that sees about 700 miles per week. Anything that I do will be relatively cheap and all about appearance and comfort. If I had bought it as a project just to be different, then hell yeah, full speed ahead on turbos, and suspension and and and.....When I actually purchase a project then we can have some fun with ideas for it.
