As much as I would like to see this, there are a lot more costs than described to launching a new "name-plate"

True, but it would be nice if GM would look into this. Maybe if they made a limited run of these cars, and whenever one showed up at a dealer, they would generate a lot foot traffic and they might sell a few Impalas and Camaros.

Totally agree but to say there are little to no costs associated is a bold face lie :lol:

 

how would they name the cars? Heritage GTO? Pontiac GTO Heritage?

 

Probably just Pontiac GTO.  God, they may have to register it as Chevy "Pontiac" GTO due to some legalities though.
