Oh, God no. Worst mistake GM could do.

Same people who bought a Pontiac built by Daewoo. Remember the '90s Lemans?  Sadly, it came damn close to being the Pontiac version of the Yugo. The thing was heavily recalled.

I don't know if that actually sold up here. The rebadged Suzuki they sold as the Firefly was pretty great if you got the turbo and stick ... almost kept up with a Civic. I tried a convertible automatic tho .... yeesh. Remember the old pedal mopeds that with the gas fully open you still needed to pedal to get up a hill .... the car version of that .. but no pedals.

Remember, Fiat owns the likes of Alfa Romeo.

But they also own the likes of Alfa Romeo. It's a fine line of good looks with bad quality

So they're a perfect match for Chrysler.

The red Lemans was sold as a Lemans up here in Canuckistan.  The only thing is that is sold so poorly that most dealers almost gave away the demo models.  I have seen one and that was a buddy of mines and it spent more time on jackstands than it did on the road.
