The 9 hour detail

Recommended Posts

So far I have 9 hours of paint correction, polish, and wax. I still have a few things to do on the inside yet but she cleaned up very nice. I have also installed some underbody lights for some night shows this year.

So how do like the way the CG stuff works? Is it pretty abrasive or light? I have tried PoorBoys SSR stuff and didn't like it. I've picked up Menzerna FG400 and SF4000 to see if it does a better job. I understanding it has a longer working time and not so abrasive as M105.

Yea. The CG V line is a heavy cutting compound, a lighter compound, a cutting polish, and a polish. So in a way it's refineing the cut, paired with the right pad. You Roxer owning a black colored car I would recommend CG black kit. I have heard good things about their product, and will be ordering that myself soon.

The saying in the detail world is to start with the least aggressive first. So save yourself some work.

Thanks JigSaw - seriously, that is an awesome job on your ride.  Really beautiful.  White looks best when it has that melting off the car look - and yours has it in spades. Thanks for the heads up on the chemical guys black kit!
