  • Welcome to Forever Pontiac

We are a community of Pontiac enthusiasts. The purpose of our community is to keep alive the Pontiac spirit by sharing (or showing off) our cars, discussing Pontiac, helping each other work on our cars and find information, plus attend various meets/shows/etc... To aid discussion, sharing, event planning and selling of parts/cars/anything, we have various parts of the website to aid this from Forums to an online Garage to Classifieds to even a Document Download Repository. You can find links to these in our navigation above based on what each section helps with (discussion, local events, learning, etc...).

We invite you to contribute, find help or just view some of our member's amazing cars! Don't forget, we also have great contests from time to time (like our Pontiac of the Month and yearly calendar contest) and our Pontiac This OR That, a fun game where you choose the best of two randomly selected Pontiacs from our online garage.

We look forward to seeing you around!

Editing issue...

Lately, whenever I try to edit one of my posts, I get this error message...

You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community.

Well quit trying to break it with an invalid extension :P:lol:

Are there any images/emoticons/smilies in the post? Do you have an example you could link to so I can test? Thanks!

Unfortunately, I've seen this too and I have yet to find the issue. For some reason when editing a post with an emoticon/smilie in it, it thinks it's an invalid image. The quick fix is to delete the emoticon, edit your post and then add the emoticon bbcode back in. Hopefully I'll figure this out soon and sort it but till then you can solve it that way ;)

I have noticed this problem when I quote someone with emoticon in the original quote too, I had to delete it to get it to take as well.

I think we need to hire a decent IT guy to run things around here !!!!! Kick butt and take names....

Seriously, this is an annoying problem as stratman alludes to.
