During the French and Indian War perhaps. A probation violation perhaps. A restraining order most definitely. Treaty violation no.

What's your point? You don't want a guys weekend?

If I could manage the time, I would relish nothing more than to give you southerners a taste of what Mtl has to offer. One day of just wrenching, imbibing, and even just getting dirty is a heaven I can only imagine at this point. I won't disturb you with the details, because they would. Suffice it to say I took 2 hours with the missus last sunday (our 23 anniversary) to just furniture browse for a new chair for her.  The resulting disaster could well have cost me my job. My sig isn't comic.

So you are saying there is never a good time to crash your place in Montreal?

So let's raid GE's toybox then. He's got lots of them plus the stump water. I wanna' run the crap out of his Beemer too.

Yer welcome anytime ... just take what you see. Hell, any roofers here? The cottage roof is a simple affair but needs done pronto.

What I want to see is if the flashers work. I've never seen a BMW with working ones.

OK, short update. Finally some good news.  Turns out that my Snap On MT-2500 WILL cycle the GMCs abs solenoids ... but not with any of the normal Primary cartridges. But the black VCI module will. A browse of Fleabay turned up several, but averaging over $200 each .. but then I found someone, probably a liquidator, selling bits and pieces of a MT-2500 kit individually. He had the Vehicle Communication Interface and the Troubleshooter interface both for under $140US. Snapped it up and that's that. Went looking for the personality key ... k9 for GMs ... turns out that key doesn't look like much more than a jumper. The traces are visible and I don't think I'll have any need to buy one to copy it.

Disgusting that it's necessary to work on brakes. Something like this should by necessity be automatically included with that ABS module. There's also a required tool to hold the partitioning valve centred ... needs 2 of them for the 4 wheel ABS.  J39177. $20 a piece .. I can make them with some old computer case tabs that I've got lying about.

I know I'm going to hate myself to ask this question, but I will!      Why do you have so many old computer case tabs lying around in the first place?

Older cases are the perfect thickness for auto body rust repair.  An old AT case can carry a 75lbs monitor and average 14ga. My old Sonoma's entire floor and much of the firewall was Compaq. You could say it was a compaq truck .... if you were the type to go for a lame joke like that ....

That and they're generally free for the taking.

Pro - the flashers work good on the beemer and I use them alot. lol

Frosty - you can ride it if ya want I don't care. Just be forewarned that it too has a butt load of power for some reason lol

And ya'll can raid the toybox what the heck. I'm building a new one so, I can fit thingies in it and wrench on stuff, paint, machine things etc..  Yeah, I just bought another mill and lathe which are smaller to do small jobs with. Gonna put in a metal floor area for setting up the car and frames to make things true. But, gotta get that concrete floor layed before I can build the building doh!!

True.....not to be confused with a regular moron.

However, GE just happens to call one of his stumpwaters "Ol' Smokey" too.

Oh, so you are saying if I leave some sprinkled on the front and back porch steps, you guys won't be able to show up on my doorsteps at 3 am Monday or Tuesday night?

I say Monday since Devil's Night is such a horrible tradition in the Detroit area, it's best that I am prepared for you showing either night.

I can leave the rest bottled up in the mailbox.
