You can call me the "Pontiac Man"

Hello, I have only started to lurk these pages and like what I see so far.

My father only owned one Pontiac all his life, a 1966 Catalina, but that is all it took for me to be hooked and I have another 1966 Catalina I intend to restore to resemble the car that started it all for me.

I have owned Pontiacs all my life, (I'm 49 years old).

My collection started with my 1979 Trans Am I still own, bought back in 1982.

This car was followed by another 79, this time a 10th Ann T/A for my wife to drive.

This car was traded for my 1983 T/A I still own, back in 1988.

We then bought a 1985 6000LE for my wife to drive after her giving up her T/A.

This car was later traded for a 1991 Bonneville SE that served us well, even after hitting a deer with it.

It was later traded for a 1997 Bonneville SSEi.

I then was looking for a cheap winter car and found a 1996 Sunfire, 2 door, red with a red interior, which I have found out as rather unusual.

The Sunfire was sold so I could take advantage of a friend needing to sell her 1995 Grand Prix GTP, this car was something I had always had a fondness for and was proud to have such a nice one to call my own.

My wifes 97 Bonneville was later sold to buy her current car, a 2004 Bonneville SLE, White-Gold tri-coat, beautiful color

.

With the GP/GTP starting to show its age, I traded it for my current car, my 2005 Bonneville GXP.

In the mean time, our two sons had started to drive, the oldest had bought a 1987 GTA Trans Am at the age of 15, which he still owns, and a 1999 Grand Am GT.

He would later sell his GAGT for his current car, a 2006 Grand Prix GXP. He was taken with the roar of the V8 in my Bonneville, he just knew what his next car was going to be.

My youngest son had been driving a 1992 Grand Prix, that had a ton of miles on it, and we thought a better car was going to be in order before he left home for collage, so the GP was sold to buy his current car, another 2004 Bonneville SLE, but this time, this car is a spectacular dark blue.

He also has a 1983 Daytona 500 Trans Am Pace car, that we are restoring and will have a strong running 355 small block in it when we are done..

As you can see, the PONTIAC runs strong in my family, so strong that even the boys girlfriends have since traded and sold off their Ford and Chrysler cars in exchange for Pontiacs, both getting a G6 each.

I call my 5 acre home, the "Pontiac Ranch", and any one that knows me, knows me as the "Pontiac Man"!

Here are the current Bonnevilles we own.

Our old 91 Bonneville.

We no longer own the 97 Bonneville SSEi, 95 Grand Prix GTP, 92 Grand Prix SE, and the 99 GAGT in this picture.

My little Sunfire made it into this picture.

No worried about me standing on it, the paint was crap and the hood was bend right where I was standing.

My sons 2006 GP/GXP.
