That's what loans are for.

To be fair, depending on your credit and the length of the loan, that would still cost too much per month for the poor guy. I am a victim of crushing student loan debt right now so I sympathize with anyone that has a loan, and if they think about getting one for anything, I warn against it. Owing people money sucks.

Let us know when you get the Fiero up and running again! The 2.8 might not have all the power in the world, but hey, at least it's not the 2.5 like I have. Slow isn't the proper descriptive term for it.

My brothers and I are very luck to not have the burden of student loans. My parents planned for it right after they were married. I'm the last one to go to college, my brothers are done. I (and many of my peers) go to community college because regular college is too expensive these days.

I got f-in lucky when it comes to my student loans. Got away with an undergrad and working on my grad and won't owe a penny when I graduate due to getting my salaried job at my junior year of undergrad and scholarships. The loans I did need to get though are in my name and paying them back is more of a hassle than getting them, it absolutely dumbfounds me to death that companies are making it hard for me to give them money. I understand the more interest they collect, the more money they earn off me but how is it not illegal?
