Maybe GM MBAs have in completed their marketing studies and have figured out that old name plates still have market cache!!! Wow...what a novel idea. Bring back names like Mailbu, Regal, Caprice, SS, Chevelle, T-Type, Grand National, & GNX. Of course name plates like Firebird, GTO, 442, Solstice, G8 are off the table and are considered taboo. I know - lets bring back the Vega, Monza, Chevette, Storm, Metro, Sprint, Corsica and Nova while we are at it !!!
