Recommended Posts

The all-new 2014 Cadillac CTS was announced today, pics below. What do you think? To me, it screams Mercedes not Cadillac.

Screams maybach if you ask me. I like it but it should have a new name. Clearly this is larger and should be called the sts or something new. Should be ATS, CTS, and then whatever this is. I want a V...

ATS and XTS had a baby and unfortunately this is what we ended up with, hate the entire rear section on the car

Cadillac is one of GM's global brands. As such, they are trying to make it appeal to more than just North American customers. So they have given to nod to some Euro styling cues. We don't have to like it. We don't have to buy it either (assuming we had the cash in the first place). I hear GM is bringing back the Buick T-Type, Grand National and GNX name plates in 2014-2015 too.

Certainly looks much higher on the 'food chain' now, so to speak. Looks more important and imposing. I like.
