Passenger killed in Southwick car crash Driver injured, one passenger dead

SOUTHWICK, Mass. (WWLP) - 22News is following news in Southwick, where a serious single- car crash happened early this morning, killing one and injuring two others.

Officer Brad Fisk told 22News that police officers and firefighters were called to 190 Granville Road around 1:30AM.

The car was traveling westbound when it crossed over the center line and hit some trees on the other side of the road.

The driver has been identified as 21-year-old Jillian Rolland of Southwick. She was air-lifted to Baystate Medical Center for treatment.

One passenger, who died in the accident, has been identified as Haley Tierney, 22 years of age, from East Granby, Connecticut.

Another passenger, 21-year old Jayme Berry of Simsbury, Connecticut is also being treated at Baystate Medical Center.

Southwick and Massachusetts State Police are investigating the cause of the accident and Granville Road will be closed until further notice while they investigation is going on.

22News is continuing to follow this story and will provide updates as they become available.

Alchohol is suspected to be involved. This is a reminder to everyone that it is NEVER okay to drink and drive. Its never worth it.
